Roman Legion copper necklace contains an authentic bronze artifact from Ancient Rome dated 200-400 AD. It’s gently restored and polished by me.
Romans wore jewelry for many various reasons: betrothal, status, decoration and even for sealing and authenticating documents. For that goal, they used a unique engraving on a gemstone or bronze ring. That’s where the phrase “seal of approval” comes from.
Back in Rome, white, blue and coral colours were mostly used in jewelry and Elena used gemstones with the same colours: bamboo coral, lapis lazuli as well as howlite.
All metal findings and chains are made of copper that with time will show beautiful and vintage-looking tarnish emphasizing the beauty of the Roman pendant.
