Collages
Collage is a form of art that involves arranging and pasting different materials onto a surface to create a new and unique image. More than 290 original works to enjoy!
Self-Portrait With Birds
$120.00I love birds. To me, they are little angels that can manage living on earth, in the air and water.
10×12 in, framed.
Snow Queens
$450.00Queens like parties (OK, ballrooms) and here it is! Four Snow Queens got together, brought their fellows and enjoyed a nice walk in a forest before having a drink at the palace.
20×20 in, mixed media on gallery wood panel
Evolution Collage
$400.00If I were a cat, Darwin’s theory of evolution would need a major update. At the very top of the evolutionary ladder would be cats, undeniably the pinnacle of existence. Cats are sleek, independent, and infinitely smarter than the average human gives them credit for. They’re experts at manipulating their human servants into giving them food, attention, and comfort, often with nothing more than a look or a soft meow. Below cats, but still superior to most creatures, are dogs. While dogs are loyal and often useful—whether in guarding homes or fetching sticks—they simply can’t compete with the pure grace, intelligence, and self-reliance of a cat. Dogs may occupy a middle rung, but they fall far short of the majesty and sophistication of their feline counterparts. Then there are humans, amusing in their technological prowess but ultimately inferior in terms of raw survival instincts. They’ve lost touch with nature, relying too heavily on their gadgets and comforts, which is why they sit just below monkeys on the evolutionary scale.
Monkeys, on the other hand, possess a level of natural instinct and agility that humans have long since abandoned, earning them a more favorable position. They may not have the same technological advancements as humans, but their connection to the natural world, as well as their intelligence and adaptability, places them above humans in my evolution chart. As for the rest of the creatures, they’re less important in the grand scheme of things. Amphibians, for example, occupy the very bottom of the ladder. For a cat, they’re little more than a snack, insignificant in the world of highly evolved beings. While they play a role in the ecosystem, their evolutionary contribution is largely overlooked when compared to the greatness of a cat, who reigns supreme over all.

Original Paintings
I paint primarily in oil and depict conceptual ideas using a variety of techniques and materials. I’m not making prints of my paintings as all of them have unique textures and finishes.
The Spring
$380.00The Spring 2021 painting depicts the most wonderful season in Vancouver – spring, but being unable to enjoy the season.
Oil on canvas, 2024
16×20 in
Eugenia
$800.00This painting was made in memory of Eugenia, Elena’s husband’s grandmother who passed away in summer 2021. Elena’s kids (Eugenia’s great-grandkids) picked this beautiful bouquet on the day she left this life and Elena painted them with a closed book that symbolizes the last chapter read of Eugenia’s life.
Oil on canvas, 2024
30×40 in
The Little Brothers Foxes
$1,200.00I love to paint portraits of my family. This original oil painting depicts my two little sons, who always get in trouble, but always together helping each other.
I wanted to show them as foxes because they are mischievous and playful.
I used oil paints in the heavy impasto technique and finished the work with oil bars.
Oil on canvas, 2024
36 x 48 in
Alice and Absolem
$6,000.00Alice finds herself in a surreal underwater realm, a vivid manifestation of her dreams where reality and imagination intertwine. Surrounded by shimmering bubbles and swirling currents, she feels the weight of her tears, which have transformed into a vast ocean, reflecting her emotions and experiences.
This oil painting combines three oil paintings I accomplished in 2012-2016, collaged and repainted into one large piece.
Oil painting on canvas and wood.
30 x 60 in, 2022-2025
