For some reason, I like medieval paintings, as well as furniture designs: a little bit brutal, but so pure – no luxury, no mass production, no excessive details. To me, it’s a kind of artistic minimalism. Inspired by medieval creatures, I’m working on collection of linocuts depicting these cute monsters.
Carved by me, all prints are hand made and unique. Each series is limited by 20 prints, signed and numbered.

I painted this work in the Commissioners Park during the 2024 Tulip Festivals. The spring was early, so most of the tulips were gone, but the trees were still magnificent and fresh.
