I love birds. To me, they are little angels that can manage living on earth, in the air and water.

This Alice D/Zoomed artwork is a collage made with prints of my original painting Alice. The original work itself got ruined and doesn’t exist anymore, but I still have some prints to play around.

I love amaryllis. They bloom in late winter and, if I’m lucky, in early summer brining refreshing with a bitter note aroma to my house.

Two bugs were hunting for treasures. When they found the chest they met each other and fell in love. The true treasure found 🙂
This is one of my self-portrait series. My world is colourful and weird, but always kind and nice. However, a lot of people around try to drag me in more practical life and measure things and work with how much you can make. That’s not me, and this destroys me. Don’t shake my world, I want colours and shine! I want beauty, without purpose.

I’m from St.Petersburg, Russia, where winters are gloomy-grey and cold. It can be cloudy for 2 or more months without even a single sunny day. In December, at noon it’s not light yet and at 3 pm it’s dark already. Also, apart from many other big cities, St. Petersburg’s central districts were planned by Italian architects and built as a royal city. A lot of streets have, in fact, two or even 4 rows of buildings, but only the first one is visible from the outside.
Apparently, the first row looked beautiful and rich and was made for wealthy landlords. Then through an arch in a wall, you get to another building, less prestigious than the first row; and through another arch to another one, and so on. The yards of the buildings remind the shape of rectangular wells, and one of those is depicted here.

I painted this work in the Commissioners Park during the 2024 Tulip Festivals. The spring was early, so most of the tulips were gone, but the trees were still magnificent and fresh.
