I have crafted a beautiful necklace that will appeal to enthusiasts of hand-made jewelry. The “Air After The Rain” necklace is delicately crafted using crocheted techniques with invisible nylon thread, connecting pure copper beads and natural fresh-water pearls. Together, these elements create the illusion of raindrops, giving the necklace a light and airy appearance. This accessory is designed to make any young lady stand out and enhance her natural beauty.
How it was made
Using special extra-fine but extra strong nylon jewelry thread, Elena needled copper beads and differently shaped natural pearls on it. A tricky part here was keeping in mind the design and arranging the beads first because during the crocheting step changing the order of the beads was not possible.
After all, beads were on a thread, and I used her passion and skills in crocheting. She was keeping certain gaps between the beads and followed her ideas to create this detailed delicate work. For a more interesting design, she added some extra loops.
After the crocheting part was done, I professionally finished the loose ends with a copper clasp and wide chain to make the length of the necklace adjustable.
This necklace goes with natural pearl stud earrings. Metal parts of the studs are sterling silver.
