Every morning, before the sun was fully up, dogs had a special job to do. They would rush out to the front yard, paws padding eagerly across the grass, to grab the morning newspaper that the delivery person had left at the end of the driveway. With a wagging tail and an expression of pride, they’d bring it back inside, presenting it to their owner like it was the most important delivery of the day. A routine as familiar as clockwork.

But what about the dog’s news? Oh, there were always juicy tidbits. There were stories of squirrels darting across the yard, a new cat in the neighborhood daring to step onto “their” turf, or perhaps the latest gossip about which tree had the best scent markers. No shortage of drama in the canine world. Sometimes, a dog would even share their “breaking news” by barking frantically at the window or running in circles, as if to say, “You won’t believe what’s happening out there!”
