This sterling silver necklace is called ‘Men’, which means ‘eagle’ in Mayan.
In the Mayan culture, the Eagle (Men) represents power and strength, uniting in itself the symbolism of the Sun and the Moon. The Sun is the masculine principle, the Moon is the feminine one. So, the eagle is the image of unity and integrity.
A pendant in this Men (Eagle) set is hand-made by a Yucatec artist from a real bull bone. I framed this beautiful piece with authentic lapis lazuli, magnesite and agate.
