A short story inspired by Aesop’s fable.
A sneaky fox saw a black squirrel on an oak tree. She resorted to all her tricks to get the squirrel, but wearied herself in vain, for she could not reach him. At last she turned away, saying: “The squirrel is sour, and not ripe as I thought.”
PS. Grapes are supposed to be instead of the squirrel, but foxes don’t eat grapes.
