This is the first picture from the Tutankhamen series.

If you chose to drink with thieves watch your wallet to be secure.

The message of this phrase is very clear. We choose friends and that choice determines the consequences. The way people treat others, one day they will treat you, and it’s stupid to be surprised by the fact it happened. 

In the central part of the painting, you can see a fragment from Beethoven Frieze painting by Klimt, depicting the monster Typhoeus’s daughters: Lust, Unchastity and Intemperance. They appear at a distance, so the viewer still has a choice to join them and share his bottle or not.
