This elegant necklace features a historical artifact pendant, accented beautifully with genuine blue sapphires.
The name “Sapphire” originates from the Greek word “sappheiros,” meaning “blue colour.” Sapphires can vary in color and purity. In the Viking Treasure necklace, all stones are natural and untreated, showcasing classic blue and fresh pink hues. While not of the highest grade, they add a unique charm to the piece.
The centrepiece of this necklace is a bronze button that once belonged to a Viking’s shirt dated to 8-10th century. Carefully restored and cleaned, this artifact holds a rich history dating back over a thousand years. To highlight this treasure, Elena has enamelled a copper round and positioned the Viking button against it, creating a striking contrast.
