Art and Found Day
March 12
FreeWhat is it about?
Artists select one or more artworks, such as paintings, photographs, drawings, handmade items, or music albums. Each piece is securely packaged and prominently labelled with the hashtag #ArtandFoundDay. An accompanying note inside provides details about the artwork and the artist. The artworks will be distributed within the artists’ communities on March 12th, 2024. To share your art discovery, utilize the hashtag #ArtandFoundDay and remember to tag @ArtandFoundDay.
I’ll leave one of my paintings in Aylmer and post hints and the picture on my IG and FB accounts on March 12. Please, follow my accounts to see updates:

The idea of Art and Found was originated by Toronto artist Courtney Senior seven years ago. Before establishing herself in the art market, Courtney chose to distribute her work for free to find appreciative homes for her creations. She would carefully package her original artworks and place them in various neighbourhoods across Toronto for individuals to discover. Each piece was accompanied by a note stating, “Hello, I’m an original abstract painting seeking a caring home. FREE ART #ArtandFound.”
